Greetings and Salutations:

I don't know why but I have always loved that greeting from "Charlotte's Webb." Charlotte, the friendly spider, used that line when she greeted Wilbur. Charlotte went on to "spin" some other amazing advertising in an effort to save Wilbur from the butcher. She spent hours writing out his praises with her web designs, such as "Some Pig", "Terrific", "Radiant", and "Humble." And it worked.

When was the last time you took the time to say some special words to a friend to encourage them. In this difficult world we sure need that support from those close to us. Take a moment to call someone and tell them you love them. You never know today might even be your last chance. Robin just lost a high school friend, a part of her graduating class. They cheered together for four years. She had a massive heart attack while swimming and training for a triathlon. The biggest burden on Robin's heart was did she know the Lord. Don't forget to take advantage of our "Bless boxes" just off the sanctuary... to yes, bless some folks.

What a privilege we have to lift up Jesus to people all around us. There are people close to all of us that are searching for so much more out of life. Keep praying that God puts you beside them at a their time of need and that you are able to touch them.

Our youth leaders count it a privilege to pour into the lives of kids each week.
