When God begins to knit hearts together, a unity forms and expectations grow.
When God begins to knit hearts together, a unity forms and expectations grow.

I love the passage in Philippians 2

1Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

A heart yielding to the Lord will practice a humble concern for the wellbeing of others: "in humility value others above yourselves."

If you're reading this could I ask you to pray and right now ask God to bring someone's face to mind that He wants you to pray for? Then just pause and pray for them. Pray for them to grow in the grace and the knowledge of Jesus. Ask God to sustain them in whatever challenge they may face or have faced today. Then make sure you seek them out and ask them how they are. And encourage them by letting them know that God specifically put them on your heart to pray for them.

We'd love to have you gather with us for worship at 10:30am and Sunday School at 9:15am this Sunday.
