For the past three years Robin and I have had the privilege to be a part of this conference designed to encourage Pastors and their wives. Over 300 people registered from 27 states this year! The President of Dallas Theological Seminary spoke in each of the evening sessions. His primary text for Monday night was 2 Timothy 3:16,17: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. I'll pass along his main points for your consideration. 1) Scripture is God's Word. All scripture is the "exhale" of God. You only speak as you are exhaling. 2) God's Word is for our growth.
It is useful for teaching & rebuking, correcting & training. The four actions form two different couplets of instruction. 3) Our growth is for his good work. We become what we consume. 50% of church attendees never read their Bible during the week. It is only by consuming the words of God that we are able to escape being gradually conformed to the errant patterns of our world.
We hope to attend the RHMA (Rural Home Missions Association) conference again in 2027. Make plans now to be a part of the evening services April 19-21.
Sunday April 26th
At 10:30 AM we gather to worship the Lord. My message this week comes from 2 Timothy 4 as we continue to see Paul's desire to equip his young pastor Timothy in our "Discipleship Alignment Series." Our Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM...in the first class we are exploring the book of Ruth. In the other class, we are looking at the later half of the book of Daniel. Come and join with us!
A Song you will hear this Sunday

Men's Breakfast Saturday May 2nd at 8:30 AM

Today's readings were: Numbers 1, Ecclesiastes 11, Psalms 41,42 and Titus 3. If you are looking for a different reading plan, you might enjoy:

In Daniel 7, he discusses a scene he saw in a vision. He describes seeing a heavenly court of the Ancient of Days (most scholars identify him as God the Father). What type of river is described as flowing from his throne?
In Jesus joy,
