**We share a calling that is worthy of our total commitment. We are asking God to do what only He can do through us.**

Greetings Saints of a high calling,

When you know you're making a difference in the lives of others, you cherish each interaction. Who has God given you a burden to encourage, to engage, to care for? That is an individual that you will sense the Spirit of God prompting you to pray for and to check on more regularly. To be burdened for other individuals, to care for and have a heightened awareness of others is Christ like according to Philippians 2:4, "Everyone should look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others."

We were encouraged last Sunday to share in the feeding ministry of "One Body, One Purpose Ministry" at River of Life Church on Derby Street with Min. Sharon Collins. The lunch meal served at 1 PM fed about 30 individuals from the Pekin area who were homeless or just simply hungry. We were able to sit and eat with them and learn a little more about the plight of the some of the hurting in our city. Through some donations Min. Collins was able to bless those attending with a new T-shirt and shorts.

We plan to be a part of the meal each third Sunday of the month. If you come, you will be blessed. But come prepared too learn, the diners will definitely open your eyes in some unique ways.

We'd love to have you gather with us for worship at 10:30am and Sunday School at 9:15am this Sunday.
