Is writing code from scratch the best way to learn?
I used to rely heavily on examples when learning a new programming concept. While working on coursework, I considered write my programming assignments but realized that writing the code myself helped me understand the logic much better. Making mistakes and fixing them gave me practical experience that reading examples alone could not provide. I now try to attempt a solution before checking other resources. Do you learn better by experimenting with code yourself?
