Good Friday morning to you and yours,
Why do I look forward to our Sunday together? I believe God has uniquely gifted and blessed us with some wonderful people. They are just good to be around! You encourage me. It is a truly a blessing to be with you. BUT you and I have a responsibility to ask God to keep doing His work among us. Do I take my responsibility/opportunity seriously that I am called to pray for and encourage those fellow believers that God allows me to see each week? And to reach out to others that don't yet know Christ's love for them.
24And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:24, 25).
As you prepare to come this Sunday to Sunday School and Worship, ask God to show you how you can be an encouragement to and spur the body of Christ on to go even further in their love of others and in their God honoring good deeds. You are a powerful force for good. Don't miss the chance this Sunday and all through the week to be His instrument for good.
This Sunday we will gather in the gym at 4 PM for snacks and then move to sanctuary to see "The Hiding Place." Bring a snack to share.
We will be focusing on prayer in our message. God has "purchased" us and "purposed" us for His great glory. You are so valuable to Him. He wanted you in His family and He uses your giftedness and talents to call others to know the joy of His love and forgiveness. We influence all of this through a ministry of prayer and how we respond to the needs of others. As you prepare yourself to worship listen to these songs in advance.

As I sign off consider this...when God saw me in need He moved heaven and earth to come to my aid, again and again. Let's celebrate this good, good God that has revealed Himself to us in His Son, Jesus.
